Gameday is an adult sports organization created in 2012 to give adults 18+ in the Treasure Valley a fun way to connect with other like-minded individuals. We have friends, families, couples, coworkers, individuals, and everyone in between that participate in our leagues.
I’m terrible at sports and just want to meet people. Is that possible?
It's why we call our leagues "Social Sports"! The social part is far more important than winning. Get out there, have fun, and win or lose, you can still make friends and have a brew after games.
How much are leagues and how long do they last?
We aim to have our pricing competitive with the area, which normally is about $40-$50, with the exception of bowling. That includes everything, from FREE team shirts, team photos, online schedules/standings, official Gameday staff at every league night, and all equipment.
All leagues are 6 weeks, with an additional week of playoffs for Kickball.
We only accept players at our events or leagues that are a minimum of 18 years of age. Although we don’t have an age limit, we encourage all current or future participants to be in tune with their own physical capabilities or limitations.

What if I don’t have a full team?
You can always register as a group or individual. For groups, simply sign on your own, then invite the rest of your group to register (via the “Invite Friends” link). For individuals, we’ll place you on a team as soon as we find out if there is a spot!
When do we receive our team shirts?
Team shirts are given out at the 2nd week of games. If you register after the league begins, you’ll receive your shirts within 2 weeks of your registration date.

Generally $40-50, depending on the league (bowling is slightly more). That includes everything, from FREE team shirts, team photos, online schedules/standings, official Gameday staff at every league night, and all equipment.
All leagues are 6 weeks, with an additional week of playoffs for all of our sports leagues (Flag Football, Kickball, Volleyball).
What should I expect as a captain?
Being a captain is easy as pie. Unlike other recreational leagues, you’re not required to front the full team fee, collect cash/checks, or the worst part – getting signatures from every player!
Instead, you can enter your roster online with just an email for each player, enabling them to pay online, pick their shirt size, and view their team schedule.
Once you’ve sent invites to your teammates, they’ll be prompted to choose a shirt size. We order shirts 1 week prior to the league’s start date, so if they haven’t accepted their spot by then, they won't get a shirt!
When do I know if I have a spot?
Team registrations are automatically confirmed, unless you are waitlisted. For individual registrations, we usually try to give notice at least one week prior to the league start date, but this can be sooner or later depending on the openings in a particular league.
SHIRTS
When do we receive our team shirts?
Team shirts are given out at the 2nd week of games. If you register within one week of a league start date, your shirts will be delivered either Week 2 or Week 3.
What size are the shirts?
Our shirts are uni-sex, 50/50 cotton tees and come in sizes from Small up to 3XL. Wondering if they’re comfy?

Can we have our own logo or company shirts?
Absolutely. Please no profanity or graphics your mom wouldn’t be proud of.
LEAGUES
What sports does Gameday offer?
Gameday currently offers Kickball, bowling, trivia, and an annual dodgeball tournament (The Holiday Dodgeball Challenge).
Do you have options with less time commitment?
We regularly host tournaments throughout the year, but most of our leagues are 6 weeks, a fraction relative to other options in the valley (10-15 weeks min).
All league champs receive a sport specific award as well.
How do I know if my team made playoffs?
Typically the top 4 teams make playoffs (although this can occasionally varying depending on league size).
Teams may have up to 3 substitutes per game. Substitutes may be individuals from a game that just finished or players brand new to Gameday Sports Leagues. Players new to Gameday MUST sign the waiver before participating.
PAYMENT
When is my team/individual fee due?
When registering as a team, you (the captain) are only required to pay for your individual spot. After you’ve registered, you can add teammates by inviting them via email, where they can accept their spot after they’ve paid. Invited players are NOT rostered players. Rostered = paid.
What if my teammates haven’t paid by the first week?
Good question! One week before the league begins, if you don’t have the minimum number of teammates needed for a team, we’ll email to find out your team’s status one week prior the league’s start date.

Gameday does not accept cash or check payments at the field; However, we do accept company checks for team payments. These can be mailed to Gameday Sports Leagues, 1428 S Manitou Ave, Boise, ID 83706. All check payments must be received by your first league date.
If your company is paying for the full team fee, just give us a call at 208.401.4077 and we’ll take care of it for you. Invoices for teams can be printed from your Player Page (must be logged in).
As of January 1, 2018, we do NOT give refunds for team or individual cancellations within 1 week of a league’s start date.
If a league is cancelled for any reason, all payments will be fully refunded to players & captains.
SCHEDULING
When do we receive our game schedule?
The schedule for your first game is emailed a minimum of 3 days prior to your league start date. The full schedule comes out within 48 after your first game.
Email eric@gamedayboise.com. We'll do our best to accommodate requests. Hint: Individual date requests are easier to grant than full league schedules.
We never have league games on: New Year’s Day, Super Bowl Sunday, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Eve.
We sometimes have games on: President’s Day Weekend, MLK Weekend, and the week before Christmas and Thanksgiving.
However, we will always have league games on: Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Father’s Day, and Veteran's Day.
