Having adult sports leagues in Boise and Meridian is awesome, but am I too late to sign up?
Never too late since we run leagues year-round (also awesome). Just click on any of the sports at the top of our home page to see which leagues best fit your schedule. Click here to find a league for you and your friends!
How old do you have to be to participate?
I’d like to sign up as an individual. Will you place me on a team?
Absolutely! Many of our players start as individuals or small groups and evolve into their own teams.
I’m signing up with a friend of mine. Can we be placed on the same team?
We wouldn’t have it any other way. We want you to have fun and be comfortable playing in our leagues, so grab a friend and sign up!
I’m a first time team captain. What do I do?
As a captain, you’re ultimately responsible for your team’s payment and getting the team to the games. Fortunately for you, we’ve made it easier than ever! You can send out payment requests, check your schedule/scores/standings, invite friends to your team, all ONLINE!
Oooh, fancy! You mean I don’t have to wrangle up checks and cash from the team, I can just send out a request to pay me?
Exactly. We don’t want the entire burden of a captain on you. Shoot, you’re doing the hard work of putting the team together so you shouldn’t have to foot the entire bill. This helps you track who paid, who hasn’t, etc. Enjoy!
They sure can. Just send them an invite to join your team and they’ll be prompted to enter their shirt size upon accepting your offer. Remember, if we don’t have a shirt size for a player, we can’t him/her a shirt!
So, your staff is good looking. Are they available?
Nope, our employees are unavailable if you have played, or currently play, in our leagues.
Well that’s a load of crock. Really? Not even just one date?
Nope.
If our game is cancelled or rained out, what happens?
Sometimes weather and circumstances just don’t cooperate. In rare cases when a game can’t be rescheduled, we’ll refund you (or your team) for games not played. E.g. If you only played 4 of your guaranteed 6 games, 33% of your team fee comes back to you.
How do I know if weather has cancelled our game?
1) A site-wide alert for all affected leagues on www.gamedayboise.com
2) Via Facebook at www.facebook.com/gamedayboise
Are we required to wear Gameday’s team shirts or can we use our own?
You’re always welcome to make your own unique shirts but every player needs one. So be creative and have fun, but make sure you all look….uniform??? (Bad joke)
